The Client

A family of 4 wanted to update their rancher with contemporary sensibility and clean lines, without sacrificing warmth or function they need with young children.

The Challenge

A cohesive home designed around particular interests. The dad was a professional chef with particular needs for their eat-in kitchen, including hidden storage in the backsplash and an integrated induction cooktop in the counter itself. They wanted to feature their self-playing piano in their bar area, and a primary bath that could highlight a stone slab they fell in love with.

The Results

Tight coordination between build and design delivered the kitchen specs, and we designed the bathroom entirely around a feature wall to showcase their gorgeous stone slab. Clean-lined storage and custom places for kids and adults to both hang while hosting kept the interior feeling and functioning like home.
