Owner & Principal Designer

Before In The Deets, Gita worked in industrial design. It was her job to walk through a problem and design a solution.  Now, she brings this perspective to your home.  After a tear-down remodel of one of her prior homes, and a custom build of her current one, she understands the needs and perspectives of her clients, and has a front-row seat to which materials last and what really goes into the longevity of a home (she will tell you which finishes outlast years of kid and pet antics).  She lives in Lafayette with her husband and two children.

Donut

Office Assistant & Pest Control

Donut loves the outdoors and long walks on his leash.  He enjoys chasing bugs and we appreciate the way he keeps our office fly-free.  You may hear his vocal contributions during Zoom calls.

Churro

IT Assistant

Churro loves sleeping, but only if it’s in someone’s lap. Skill sets include ensuring our keyboards work (he walks across them regularly to check; don’t worry, we have automated backups) and rubbing his face on anyone nearby.
