In The Deets is a Lafayette-based design and project management firm founded by Gita Jacobson. As owner and principal designer, Gita specializes in kitchen remodels, bathroom renovations, full home renovations, and additions throughout Lamorinda and the East Bay.

Unlike design firms that do everything from renovations to furniture to throw pillows, Gita focuses exclusively on remodels. That specialization matters — instead of shopping for decor, she's deep in renovation products. She knows the best shower drains, the right sound dampening panels, the tile that looks beautiful and holds up to real family life.

A background in Industrial Design means she designs to build, not just to look pretty. She understands how things are actually constructed — which means fewer surprises, smarter decisions, lower risk of costly changes mid-build, and a finished product that works as good as it looks.
