Two art collectors who wanted their rancher to feel more like an art gallery.

The Challenge

Offer an open feeling, while still providing plenty of wall space for their art collection.

The Results

We used design tricks like careful layouts and a see-through fireplace to open the space without sacrificing prime art-hanging space. Black windows framed their view of Mt. Diablo, and we corrected a known shift in their foundation to ensure they would enjoy their investment for a long time.
