😩 Oh gawd! Seeing tile sheet lines after installation is the worst! At that point you’ve laid down the tile and grouted. Only way to fix this is to rip it all out and start again.

🙌 Here’s how to avoid this costly mistake!

👉 Stagger the sheets! Instead of laying sheets in a grid, offset them so the seams do not line up.

👉 Cut and fill with individual tiles: Cut some tiles from the edges of sheets and use them to fill the gaps between sheets to create a more natural, seamless look instead of a grid of sheet lines.

👉 Press sheets evenly: Use a grout float to press sheets into place, but avoid excessive pressure on the edges, which can cause some tiles to dip down and create lines.

👉 Check with your phone camera: Your phone’s camera often picks up what your eyes miss. Take photos as you go to identify and fix any lines or unevenness.
